Hello everyone! I have come to the sad decision that I should sell my Charizard kigurumi. It was my very first kigurumi but is fairly well made! I only wore it to one convention.
I /do/ plan on re-making it now that I am more skilled in my kigurumi making (I have made a handful of others already) but for now I need to sell my V.1 of it.
Information:
-made of anti-pill fleece
-tail is large and stuffed with a fur fire tip
-there is an elastic loop on one leg where you can slide the tail in if you dont want it to drag on the floor
-the hood is double lined with stuffed horns
-there are slip on 'mittens' with padding on the inside to make the paws and claws more 3D
-it is machine sewn with finished seams

I really adore that this is a liiiiiittle more fitting as compared to the bulk of other kigus I see, and I like the drop crotch on this (it's a standard on most kigus, but it looks great here). I also appreciate the lack of a face on that hood. I always see faces on kigus, and I honestly do NOT like that at all, so it's refreshing to see that not presented on this one.

The fact that it was fitting was actually a mistake haha! But Im glad to see that you like it. It wasnt one size fits most like other kigus are but luckily it sold to someone it fit well. Im making 3 different patterns for my kigus for the future, my standard kigu, a summer kigu, and a fitted kigu, so people can choose which they like more!
Oh I am the same way, I prefer kigus to not have faces! Since to me the person wearing it is supposed to be like the 'face' of the kigu, Im still gonna practice with adding faces just in case other customers want them though. Glad to see Im not alone in that opinion haha <3

I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I've been peeking around now for awhile trying to find someone who makes kigus nicely, and I absolutely adore what you're doing so far. I'll keep an eye out for your openings next year, for sure :3
