These critters are a little extra-special to me. The patterns on their backs are based on embroidery designs from the part of Poland that my family is from, the Kaszuby region. All of these are meant to be animals that can be found in that area: a boar, a roe deer, a brown bear, a red fox, and a beaver. They are 100% felted wool, with the designs also felted on (not embroidered).
