Sphinx Moth by MandaLioness

Sphinx Moth

MandaLioness

This was a treat for me. This is white-lined sphinx moth. When I first caught a glimpse of this little guy flitting around the flowers, I thought it was a hummingbird. When I got closer, I realized it wasn't a hummingbird, but a moth! These things are so cool! They have a long proboscis that is adapted to reach the nectar in long fluted flowers. It was super cool to see.
