So before Geauga was GEAUGA, she was a stingray named Tesla. Tesla was a Temporal Police officer from even further in the future. Monguse ran when Nemesis started causing trouble and Monguse felt there was no way in heck he could take him. In her future Nemesis has destroyed everything and only a handful of resistance remained. Tesla was put through horrible experiments to give her powers similar to Monguse and then went back to stop him from running out. However she arrived too late and had to track him down. She had a number of adventures with him and they both fall in love. Monguse goes back and puts things right, erasing her timeline. However having been saturated with Chronotons from traveling between worlds and times she remained unaffected and stayed with Monguse to rebuild the City at the Edge of Time.

So what happened you ask? Well one: that was the end of the story. There was no more after that. Yes Temporal Police was gonna be a very short story and that would have been the end. Two: thinking about it and reworking it, I was gonna have Nemesis destroy time, space, everything. So why would he wait years to do that? Also, I already had 2 mantaray characters designed and well I wanted something better, more unique. Having moved up to Ohio I learned about Geauga Lake and loved the name. Also, I wanted a character who could hold her own against Monguse and never lose any sheen or appeal whenever Monguse was around. ( many female counterparts just don't hold up well when they males counterparts show up and "save the day") I wanted a character that would be fun, strong, and people would just be drawn to. And after many tries came Geauga. ( however she had pointy pigtails that did nothing , later came the one we know and love ) And the rest is history.

Sadly I never did anything else with poor Tesla. Feel kinda bad because in many ways she was Monguse's first love. She'd be almost forgotten about till I found old stories pieces from way back. Her hair lives on mind you, as Bam's new baby daughter will be sporting it. But other than that, she's gone the way of her home timeline I guess.

Anyway so for Geauga Day, Feb. 3rd... I give you the Geauga that is and the Geauga that almost was. Enjoy.
