Here’s my final for my Illustration class! We had to Illustrate a children’s book from picking a classic nursery rhyme.

Little Red and the Wolf is a spin on the classic children’s tale of Little Red Riding Hood. In this story, Little Red is a young fox kit being tracked by a hunter, referred to as ‘The Wolf’ because of the wolfs skin he wears. The overall mood for the storybook is supposed to be childish with a touch of dark.

Overall project had to include a character turnaround/drawings of minor characters, a cover, three spreads, a set of storyboards, and all the preliminary work that went along with it.

After working on this for 5 weeks I’m glad to be putting it down!
