So, my phone’s battery decided it’s a good day to just die completely, rendering the phone unable to power on, even with a power adaptor plugged in. (Only just before trying to jumpstart it with an Arduino did it show a spark again. We’ll see how long it lasts before refusing to power up again when the battery goes flat after 10 minutes of not being plugged in. Should be able to backup some files at least.)

In the anger and frustration, I was unable to draw what I was planning on for this week's pic-a-week. So I ended up just drawing how I feel instead, and it worked out kinda nice actually. Amazing what one can draw when one's angry.

I’m looking at my options for a replacement. Buying new is really expensive, and buying secondhand is risky too. In the mean time, I’ll be removing what I can from the phone, like important files and stuff for backup. And also seeing where I can gather money for the replacement. Commissions are unfortunately not an option at the moment, since I don't want to add even more to my art queue.

A replacement battery was on the (figurative) table, and was actually ordered and shipped, but due to the amazing efficiency of the South African Postal Service, it's been gathering dust at the customs agency for the last 5 or so months, even after countless attempts to contact them about the package. People complaining about an Amazon delivery being a few hours late have nothing on me. 8D
