Thanks! Apparently heterochromia is actually very common in huskies, most of the ones I've met in real life have one brown eye and one blue eye. Oddly enough, I once had neighbors with a dachshund with heterochrome eyes, one eye being the typical dark brown, but the other being a very striking icy blue color, made even more noticeable by his main body color being nearly black.

Now I'm wondering, is "heterochromia" a relevant search tag to add? It's not a trait I usually include on characters, aside from Caleb, a robot with mismatched eyes, and a random husky or two. I've usually seen eyes of different colors being used to make otherwise uninteresting characters, or "special snowflake" or "Mary-Sue" characters more visually distinct...
