A wild-dog-like character that inhabits the world of Terminus alongside the Ridgebacks. Given the visual similarities, it's likely they share a common evolutionary ancestor.

I never did decide if the Ridgebacks ever domesticated these as companions or work animals, but I suppose their relationship could be similar to that between primitive man and the first domesticated dogs.
