To illustrate what a Nascent is. Which is a blob, or other undefined creature, that is a new or underdeveloped thought. These are probably pretty common in the Nethershade, the piece of my Inner World where Sidney lives.
This one seems to be a sad or worried cartoon thing with a pompadour.
I was really tired at this point, too.

Normally these guys get filled in with marker coloring, in all kinds of textures. The blank, white spaces in this one could end up with more shape and texture and detail and holes/lumps/slime/whatever that would have no line art, just color-and-shade-defined.
