Posting another work in progress, since I'm really loving how this piece is coming out!
This is another commission for the book author Joseph Lallo. This time it is of an adorable character from his sci fi book series, Squee the Funk. She is a cross between a fox and a skunk. ;) I took a very different style on this piece than I did on the other two pieces I did for Joseph. I wanted to experiment with a more "cartoony" type look, as well as do some practice on facial expressions.
She is sculpted from Super Sculpey, Sculpey Firm and Apoxie Sculpt over a wire and foil armature. In these photos she had been coated with a grey primer in preparation for painting.

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun with the fluffy tail. :) I finished painting her today! I should have finished photos up in the next few days.
