Mr. Platypus Bear loves you! Haha, this was a super fun commission I received of a Platypus Bear holding a heart. The commissioner wanted it to be a gift for his girlfriend, so cute!

Several years ago I sculpted a baby platypus bear, so I was excited to get a chance to sculpt an adult one as well.

I forgot to measure this guy before sending him out, but I believe he measures about 5.5" tall. He is sculpted from Super Sculpey Firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte finish. He is mounted on a wooden base that has been sanded, stained and glazed, with Woodland Scenic landscaping used for ground details.
