Totally boring speedpaint, but I felt inspired after seeing the beautiful saturation contrast of the now blossoming redbud trees against the stormy gloom-filled forest today. And have a random heavily referenced Downy Woodpecker too while I'm at it. XP I love overcast, rainy days! <3

I'm liking this speed paint, I also really like the overcast and rainy days with the reflections on the black top in the city with the splash of water, or the stillness in the forest and the pittering of the rain. Makes me want to move to the west coast, because I much prefer that to the frozen winters.

You captured such an evocative, atmospheric feel in this one. The Downies around here are out in force right now, so when I saw it was instantly recognizable! We have one that especially likes our dwarf apple tree out back, haha.
