My Thoughts so far – The back jacket suggests these two aren’t going to make it easy to love each other, some conflict, maybe they’ll hit it off wrong, and circumstances will force them together long enough for them to see the good in each other. Will it live up to this promise?

Typical of his writing in my experience, and I respect that others may not share my opinion, but generally things don't feel realistic or supported. Things just happen to make the story go the way its desired, in such an unnatural way that you can't help but feel like the author's hand is micromanaging everything so it happens just so.
