Giving blood is a great way to help others, and I try to do it as much as possible. I'm actually not terribly afraid of needles. But this time, I guess I was still under the weather, and they took it out really fast as I was sitting up straight - one moment I was talking to the nurse, the next, passed out on the stretcher with a bunch of bystanders standing around. @_@
