Okay, this requires a bit of explaination... XD I RP in a sandbox, spawned off of that Phoenix MUCK game I used to draw art about. Only now I just write with two close friends, and since it's locked I can't really link to it, so... descriptions ahoy! Also, please excuse the photograph of paper, my scanner is not hooked up right now.

The phoenix brings people into the city of Tokyo in a whirlwind of flames, before burning up and vanishing, only to do it again in another few days.

Kazumi (.hack//GU+) has been wandering around the city, trapped in the form of his avatar, and plagued by the dummy factor stuck in his eye. Mimiru tried to help him, but he saw her worry and scolding over the Data Drain as arrogance, and stormed out in anger. The factor's influence built though, and driven to desperation to find control over it, he walks into a library and drains someone at random.

In the library... Loki (Thor movie-verse) is reading a book, bitter over the outcome of things with his father and brother, when he suddenly finds himself under attack. Although he easily evades it, this only sets Kazumi on edge, and Loki's dismissive and mocking attitude toward him eggs him into using the drain again, even though he was warned against it. The Data Drain backfires when it strikes Loki's force field, knocking Kazumi across the room and into a shelf full of books. Loki examines his mechanical arm and the eye, curious of a human wielding power so carelessly.

Meanwhile in the background, someone watches with amusement. A tall man in armor that is not who he appears to be, Geis (Ys, Ark of Napishtim) is under the control of the witch Karla (Record of Lodoss War), and bears the circlet that she uses to possess people under his headband. She steps over to applaud the show put on, and make Loki's acquaintance.
