decided to try out and see if SAI would be signifigantly more effective than MSPaint for lineless stuff, and i was right. the lineart tool is incredibly useful for this kind of stuff.

mostly traced over the lines of the original image and upped the resolution quite a bit. removed all lines from the original image save for the eye, and used shading to have some features stand out. also popped on a paper texture since i thought it'd look nice. i was not wrong in my assumption.

pretty happy with how this turned out. might do some more lineless stuff in the future now that i've settled into SAI for doing this sort of thing.
