A midnight painting of my dragon character Terirah. She's a mixed breed, so she has a soft down all through her coat, and fur riding down her spine.
Now that I own a pair of sphynx cats, I sort of imagine she feels the same way they do. (A really soft down, like shammy cloth, or suede or velvet.)

I LOVE backgrounds, but sometimes I just want to do a quick character study :) In that case it's easier to just do something a little design-y and just leave it at that.

I love her! I have a real affinity for white dragon-like animals. <3 I also really enjoy the simplistic way you represented the background. I am a chronic over-renderer when it comes to backgrounds, so it's nice to see just the right touch.
