The Tyger and The Lamb

[I'm thinking about reopening this file and completely re-doing the lava because it is so freaking terrible. OTL]

So big warning because this is a MASSIVE file. Wow! Had to draw it ginormous since it was getting printed for a poster project(and an art project. shhhh) [At the time, I did not know how resolutions and canvas sized transitioned over to print. It was interesting to do such a high res image though]

This was for a project for my English class where we had to choose a poem we had read from the Romantic period and make a picture poster. Since we read both "The Tyger" and "The Lamb" by William Blake, which go hand in hand, I decided to combine them.
These lines, man... too stronk. Had to zoom and correct each section by hand as I was half asleep and really wobbly drawing.

The red stuff is supposed to be lava, yes it looks like jelly, and no thats not blood. I was crunched for time and have never drawn lava before ^^;
The tiger is a Golden Tabby Tiger which I thought would really go well in the piece. A regular Bengal Tiger just seemed too bold with its black stripes and the Golden flowed really smoothly with its softer color pallet.

Time: 20 - 23 hours (TOO SLOW DAMNIT)
