So one of those old sketchbooks I dug out is going towards my new year's resolution/goal of one full sketchbook page per week. Week 1 starts off with Wabi (why not?). I did learn a couple of things about this particular sketchbook--although it's a wonderfully hardbound thing like an older one I used to have, loved and filled up...............the pages are relatively thin. So..........markers (and paints, anything liquid-based really) are unable to be used in it. Colored pencils work okay, but the grain of the page makes it look the same as CRAYONS--trying to press hard or shade is likely to tear the pages.

So, pretty much anything colored in here will be colored pencils or crayons and little shading details. That's okay, I'm trying to do full page pieces and I can show off my inking anyways. XD
