They're called "Asterlites".
Still brainstorming at the moment. But for now-

• they're mammals; have arms, wing arms and legs
• 2 pairs of ears (main & sub, used for navigation and detecting threats)
• they have halos, which is a physical manifestation of their psyche (can be used like a torch/lantern; also signifies "rank")
• there are variations in their halos and horns (some horns are gender specific; halo "construction" signify different ranks)
• they live in cold climates or caves (or ice caves)
• their wings are completely capable of flight; they wrap themselves with their wings (1st image)
• the wing arms are used for climbing or gripping (scaling walls, getting through tight spaces, etc)

For these two, in technical terms-
Female. 1st has a primary sphere-depth, and 4 sub oval-depths, vertical. And Devils' horns.
Male. 2nd has a primary sun-flat, and a shard-depth, vertical. And Devils' horns.
