Dangling helpless prey has got to be some of the best teasing, especially if the predator is big and muscled because he can show off his body with the uncommunicated (or communicated) knowledge that his prey will be going inside. This applies to guts as well of course and particularly if the Predator is a Macro or significantly larger than the prey. Pre-Vore is where all the teasing and taunting gets really exciting, before the moment where the encounter climaxes (pun intended) once the prey enters the maw, or is swallowed down. I'm not sure where the line is between Pre-vore and Vore.
