You did nail the pool toy aesthetic, the fur on the side of the face doesn't quite fit the plastic seams but looks like typical digital art to me, same with the mouth, I think you could probably tweak it just a tiny bit more to get that look of the formed printed plastic. I would expect to see a rippling puckering effect from the air not being able to quite perfectly inflate an imperfect, non-round shape, and the fur fronds to be painted on rather than in their own inflatable bits, for a pool toy.

But, you do outright place it in a fetish folder, so maybe that doesn't really matter so much... it may be more about the character's look than what would be viable to produce in a real inflatable toy. I'm just thinking in terms of this being an illustration of an actual pool toy made of plastic and how to convey that best. The shine and the joins are spot on. I totally buy it on the ears and bangs. That looks exactly like a balloon should. That double stroke of light and dark together works very well for the plastic buckling in on itself. I don't think I could have done it better. I've never drawn an inflatable before. I'll be remembering that little trick.
