Heyo, this is a piece for a contest over on Lioden for this months theme, featuring my lioness Wadjet. So in honor of that I decided to do something that I rarely do on photoshop, which would be backgrounds, shading, and highlights. It was a different experience, but an enjoyable one. With a lot of my digital oriented pieces, it's a combination of digital painting on top of a traditional sketch. Which has worked out pretty well for me since that eliminates having to do the line work on the computer.
