References for two of my guinea pig OCs, Dura (dark tri-color) and her son Oliver (brown and white)! For an animation I need to finish soon.
Geez are guinea pigs hard to make look unique from each other. Definitely a good challenge for character design but it's gonna get harder the more cavies I design :/
Fun fact: originally Dura was gonna be the one on top but when I finished the lineart the bottom one seemed to fit her better.

Here's a good ref site for cavy colors/patterns/coats, to give you some ideas :D http://cavybreedcolor.weebly.com/
If you want to keep it realistic, remember orange/yellow/white brindles & patches match the shade of agouti or tan/fox/marten pattern they are; but black/blue/slate/lilac/chocolate/beige(gawedtoomanynames) DON'T come in striping/patches (e.g., you can't get black stripes on a Lemon Agouti, but you CAN have lemon stripes on a Lemon Agouti.)
