LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL FAT PRECIOUS BABY I FOUND THIS MORNING, OH MY GOD

This is a very polite Speckled Kingsnake (Lampropeltis getula holbrooki) that was hanging out in the backyard. They're wonderful snakes, and I really hope he/she stays for a while.

This is also a good opportunity to say: In the state of Alabama, it is ILLEGAL to take, capture, kill, or possess a Speckled Kingsnake. Please respect wildlife.
