Finally finished this drawing! It's been a while since I've drawn either Shank the platypus or Basil the ferret, which is why I decided to revisit this old sketch I never finished that would have shown off where Shank lives. Shank and Basil are part of a mischievous gang led by Cinnamon the guinea pig. However when they're not plotting outrageous plans with Cinnamon, Shank and Basil hang out with each other on their own. Since platypuses are aquatic, Shank made a home for himself in the wilderness. He found a comfy duck pond, and then scarred away all the ducks by threatening them with his venomous spurs. Basil sometimes likes to visit Shank's pond on hot days, though the entertainment Shank provides isn't quite up to date. It ain't easy to afford a wide-screen 4K TV, 1,000 channels, blu-rays and stream services out in the middle of nowhere!
