Prologue In the year 20XX, a partnership between Dr. Thomas Light (a round man who loved science and had a long plush snowy beard) and Dr. Albert Wily (a lean man who was balding and sported a mustache and had a constant greedy look in his eye) was broken after a failed attempt at making a humanoid robot with a soul and freedom to make its own choices. After the partnership broke apart, Dr. Light retried to make a humanoid robot. This time it was correct and the robot/cyborg came alive. Dr. Light named this robot Rock. Rock (a small boy type robot whose hair was combed back) was an average helper robot which Dr. Light looked at like a son. Dr. Light introduced Rock to his siblings which would help the ecosystem. But that following night, Dr. Wily infiltrated the Light Laboratory and reprogrammed the robots and sneaked off with them. The next morning was a news outbreak saying that Light’s robots were destroying Tokyo. Not a second sooner the signal changed itself and Wily’s face was shown. He spoke of how he wanted to take over the world as revenge for Dr. Light taking credit for his inventions, so to speak. Rock could not stand another moment of seeing his brothers destroy Tokyo and eventually the world. He told Dr. Light to change him into a fighting robot. Even though Dr. Light didn’t like it, he knew he didn’t have a choice in the matter. After a few hours, Rock awoke to find himself in blue and cyan armor and his right arm had a weapons function input. Dr. Light told Rock the world would now know him as Mega Man. He quickly used a nearby teleporter and teleported to the nearly destroyed streets of Tokyo. He didn’t like it but he had to destroy his brothers. He ended up destroying them with a gloomy and depressing look about him. After destroying the last one he heard an ear piercing sound and then he saw a giant machine. Dr. Wily was in a furious mood and regretted that he didn’t reprogram Rock differently too. He threatened to crush Rock like a bug. Even though the battle was long, Rock had won the battle. Dr. Wily escaped and promised to return with eight new robot masters. A year has passed now. Rock now has a sister named Roll… THE WILY WARS Darkness was all that could be seen for miles. Rock was trapped in the darkness alone. He then heard a sound that was all too familiar. It was Dr. Wily in his robotic behemoth of a machine but something didn’t feel right. Rock quickly destroyed it. “Well done boy but that was just the beginning.” Wily said as he started making weird movements with his body. His body started to look scaly as it grew more than twenty times its original size. Even his original shape began to look different. “Are you ready Mega Man?” Rock quickly jumped out of his bed in a cold sweat. Dr. Light walked into the room. “Are you alright Rock?” “I’m fine, thank you for asking. I just have this bad dream.” Rock replied. “Interesting, robots don’t dream it could be an omen to warn you of the future.” Dr. Light said as he was noticing Rock was sweating. “Well when I defeated Wily last year he said he’d return with eight new robot masters. I had this dream and Dr. Wily was in it, but something about him was…different.” Rock said almost as if he was foreshadowing. ”Well Rock, I wouldn’t worry about it too much.” The doctor said as he started getting up. “Doctor, Rock, breakfast is finished. Come in here and eat.” Roll (a small girl type robot who was blonde and was used for housekeeping) said as her voice echoed down the halls. “Well we shouldn’t keep her waiting.” Dr. Light said as Rock crawled out of bed and changed clothes. After changing he and Dr. Light went to meet Roll. Meanwhile on an uncharted island, a scientist was scheming and had finally finished a project he had been working on for a whole year. “Yes, it’s all coming together. Your mission is to go to Tokyo and find a boy in blue and cyan armor. Obliterate the town if you need to but find that child and destroy him. You need a name though. Yes that’s it, I have the perfect name for you…” the scientist came out of the shadows, it was Dr. Wily! “Your group shall be known as the Wily Numbers. Now, use the teleporters to my left to travel to Tokyo. Remember, find that boy and destroy him.” The robot masters went towards the teleporter quickly. After they were gone, Dr. Wily went over towards what looked like an average wall but after knocking on it a total of 5 times, a part of the wall slid to the side. Dr. Wily entered the hidden room. The wall then slid back into place. “Come on hurry up Air Man!” Flash Man (a blue and yellow robot who wore a suit similar to Rock said around 40 feet away. “Hey I’m not the one who can stop time.” Air Man (a round robot with a fan for a mouth) said in a reply. Flash Man was now 160 feet away. “Stop freezing time!” Air Man said in an angry tone. “At least save it until we find this Mega Man character.” From that point on, time no longer stopped itself. At the Light Laboratory, Rock was helping Dr. Light on some experiments. “Rock, there’s a secret I’ve been keeping from you.” Dr. Light started to have a serious look about him. “What’s the secret Doctor?” Rock asked very curious to know. “Your siblings, the ones you supposedly destroyed, they were never destroyed. I managed to repair them. But then the WRA (World Robot Alliance) forced me to send them to be destroyed because of their danger. I begged and pleaded with them. The best I could do was move their destruction dates forward two months. Those two months have passed…they are being put to destruction tonight. I’m sorry Rock.” Rock had a depressed aura about him. “I won’t let that happen. Doctor I’m going to get my armor.” Rock ran off to the weapons room. Some clicks and buzzes could be heard. A moment later Rock came out in his blue and cyan armor. He quickly ran out of the Light Laboratories and towards Tokyo’s destruction facility. “I won’t let them…I won’t let them destroy my brothers!!!” Rock bumped into a rather large person as he ran to the destruction facility. “My apologies sir.” Rock said in a confused tone. The figure analyzed Rock. “Blue and cyan armor; Tell me boy are you Mega Man?” The figure asked. “Who’s asking?” Rock asked. “Death is asking, in the form of me.” The figure revealed him. It was Air Man. He quickly shot tornadoes at the boy in blue. He jumped out of the way only to get hit by what looked like Mega Buster ammo. “How is this possible?” Rock was surprised by this. Air Man now had someone standing next to him. “That would be me. The name’s Flash Man and we were sent to assassinate you.” Flash Man looked at Rock with a toothy grin. One second Rock was about to use his Mega Buster, the next he was pinned to the ground. But Flash Man and Air Man were still in the same position. Flash Man started laughing like a mad man. “This is Mega Man?! Ha! I was expecting more of a challenge but this is pathetic!” “Why are you fighting me? Let me go. I have to save my brothers.” Rock said as he was slowly getting up. “Afraid we can’t do that Mega Man. We have strict orders from our leader Dr. Wily to destroy you by any means necessary.” Air Man said. ‘How am I going to get to Guts Man, Ice Man, and the others?’ Rock said thinking to himself. Meanwhile at the destruction facility, Dr. Light’s robots were in shut down mode. A crash could be heard as many robotic bats came in followed by a round silhouette. He turned the robots back on. They all opened their eyes to see this figure. On his shoulder was his DRN (digital robot name) code: 016; Wood Man. Wood Man was a very large robot with a wooden exterior who was wearing a tree stump as headgear. “I’ve got a deal for you wimpy robots. Join up with Dr. Wily and we’ll break you out of this facility.” “Are you joking?!” Cut Man (a red orange robot with a large pair of scissors on the top of his head. “Why would we join up with Dr. Wily? He’s the whole reason we ended up here, reprogramming us…!” Cut Man was interrupted by Elec (tric) Man, a mild mannered robot. “That’s enough Cut Man, we don’t have much of a choice, and we’ll join you.” Cut Man looked at Elec Man in utter disgust. “Is he crazy?!” “Don’t worry Cut Man; I know what Elec Man’s doing.” Bomb Man (a jock type who was a demolition expert) said with a smirk. Cut Man quickly picked up on what Bomb Man meant and felt relieved. Back to the fight, Rock was getting beaten pretty badly. “You know Air Man, it’s a shame that Crash Man and the others won’t get to fight this wimp.” Flash Man said, still laughing at how pathetic Rock was. “You know what? Air Man I’ll let you have the final blow.” “It would be my pleasure.” Air Man shot a tornado towards Rock. He didn’t have enough time to react from being so tired. He took the blow completely and flew towards a building. The building was several stories and was one of the oldest structures in Japan; if hit hard enough, it would most likely topple over. It started to topple down onto Rock when he crashed into the building. He closed his eyes expecting death when nothing happened. He looked up in amazement to see Guts Man (a large burly construction worker robot) had caught the building with his Super Arm. “Little boys don’t belong here. Go home before you get hurt.” Guts Man said almost mocking Rock. Rock was amazed as he saw his brothers out of the destruction facility fighting alongside him. However, Ice Man and Elec Man were nowhere to be found; Rock then looked up to see a Wily jet heading out to sea. He could faintly make out two figures. “Don’t worry little ‘bro’ (Bomb Man talks like a fraternity brother), they’ll be fine, they have trackers. They’re going to help us get to Wily’s base.” Bomb Man told Rock, excited that he would get to use his bombs once more. Two mysterious silhouettes suddenly appeared on top of a building. “Five against two seems unfair wouldn’t you agree?” one of them said to the other. “Yes, let’s help those two twerps take out those lousy Light Numbers.” They leapt down to reveal they were another red orange robot with drills for hands (or so it seemed). The other was a red and dark gray robot with a metal blade on his forehead. “Crash Man, Metal Man (respectively), we’ve been waiting. Now the real party begins. I’m still wondering what happened to Wood Man though.” Flash Man was acting very impatient. “He was no match for my burning justice.” Fire Man (a robot with an unmatched sense of justice and the power to control flames) said. “So I guess it’s five against four.” Air Man said. “Here Rock I managed to get this. I wasn’t sure if you needed it, but it looks like you do.” Cut Man said. He held out what looked like a blue soda can with a large yellow letter ‘E’ imprinted on it. “Is that an E-Tank; thank you Cut Man.” Rock said as he took the drink. He guzzled it down and his body began to look cleaner and his damages suddenly vanished. He shot what looked like a torpedo. It shot quickly however it was still Mega Buster Ammo. “Could the E-Tank have given me the ability to charge my shots to make them more powerful?” Rock was shocked in amazement. He charged his ammo and shot it at Metal Man. Metal Man flew hundreds of feet away. “That must’ve dished out a lot of damage. Does that mean the Mega Buster is his weakness? I don’t believe it!” Rock said amazed. All of the sudden a new message was given in Tokyo, and the rest of the world. Dr. Wily’s face was plastered on ever monitor in the world. “Guten tag, Planet Earth, I am Dr. Albert W. Wily. I have made a satellite to annihilate all life of Earth. I will be protected of course, and I will redesign the world in my image with my unstoppable force of Wily Numbers.” Suddenly Roll appeared with what looked like a jet board. “Rock, Dr. Light has been monitoring the fight. So he built you a transportation device.” Rock ran over towards Roll quickly so as to not get her involved. “It’s called the Item-2. It has coordinates to where Elec Man is so that way you can get to Wily’s base. Its maximum speed is 500 miles per hour…!” Rock took it from Roll quickly when an explosion could be heard from above them. A large chunk of a building was about to crush Rock and Roll. Roll screamed while Rock held her in his arms as to protect his little sister. Cut Man then appeared and used his weapon to cut the chunk into several pieces. “I’ll take Roll back to the Light Laboratory, you need to go to Wily’s Base and join Elec Man and the others.” Cut Man then took Roll and carried her away from the battlefield. Rock then used the Item-2 and started to fly off towards the sea, the same direction the Wily Jet was heading. “What the…how is he?!” Flash Man was angered by seeing Rock flying away to Wily’s Base. “No need to worry Flash Man, Heat Man will take care of that little pest.” Crash Man said to Flash Man. They looked up to see what looked like a meteorite stalking Rock. “I just got word from Cut Man; Rock is coming over here to stop Dr. Wily’s satellite.” Elec Man said to Ice Man. “What are you two new recruits babbling about?” Dr. Wily said to the two Light Numbers. “We think you need to stop and freeze.” Ice Man (an arctic scout explorer robot) then used his Ice Slasher power to freeze Dr. Wily to the wall nearby. “Argh, you traitors, you won’t get away with this. My satellite has just set off.” The two Light Numbers could see the satellite being launched on a monitor in the distance. “Oh no, we’re too late Elec Man.” Ice Man said depressed. While traveling across the sea, Rock saw the satellite being launched. “Oh man I’ve got to hurry and stop that satellite.” Suddenly Rock felt something very warm nearby. “I’m going to cook you alive!” Heat Man (a red robot who wore a yellow box as a suit) was coming up fast on Rock and was laughing maniacally. Rock also noticed something else, or someone else. “Heat Man, get out of here. Mega Man is in my territory now.” The strange figure (who was green and white and rather pudgy) said as it was swimming through the ocean. “I can’t do that Bubble Man. I just caught up with Mega Man and I’m not about to let you have all the fun.” Heat Man said smirking. “Well if you get hurt, I’m not going to help you.” Bubble Man and Heat Man then teamed up to take down Rock. Rock quickly managed to grab hold of Bubble Man as he came out of the water, giving him knowledge of his weapon. He then aimed his Mega Buster at Heat Man and used Bubble Man’s Bubble Lead. Heat Man was surprised by this and took the full force of the blast. Since logic says that water douses fire, Heat Man’s meteorite form vanished and he fell into the cerulean sea. Heat Man was put out of commission. Rock simply ignored Bubble Man and flew towards the satellite. When he got there, a platform was on the top of it. On there, another robot was waiting. “So you’re this Mega Man I’ve heard so much about. I am Quick Man and am Dr. Wily’s last creation and his strongest. So let’s see who’s quickest on the draw.” Rock and Quick Man (A red robot who looked like he had a yellow boomerang attached to his head) had their arms at their sides. Rock was charging his Mega Buster while Quick Man started to reach for his Quick Boomerangs. Quick Man yelled “Draw!” and they both fired. If Rock had fired a hundredth of a second later, he would’ve been dead. Rock quickly got away from the satellite on his Item-2 and fired at it until it exploded. But right before it exploded he saw Quick Man jump off and make it to safety. Rock quickly flew away from the satellite as debris fell everywhere. All Rock had to do now was defeat Dr. Wily. He landed at Wily’s Base to find all his siblings there. “Did you guys defeat Wily’s other Robot Masters?” “Believe me here Rock; they kind of took out themselves. Air Man and Metal Man accidentally hit Crash Man and Flash Man (respectively). Who knew that they were weak against tornadoes and metal blades? From there it was a cake walk.” Bomb Man explained. “Well I need you guys to help me take out Dr. Wily.” Rock said to his brothers. They started to go inside but then a sound could be heard and the plan was altered. Now all Rock had to work with were Cut Man, Ice Man, and Elec Man. Guts Man, Fire Man, and Bomb Man ended up being left outside. --------------------------------------------------- “It’s a dead end. I don’t believe it!” Cut Man said looking annoyed. Cut Man tried knocking on the wall; he ended up knocking on it a total of five times. The wall then slid open to everyone’s surprise. “Nice job Cut Man let’s continue forward.” The room was dark. Then they all heard a sound that was all too familiar. “So you’ve found me Mega Man…congratulations. Your reward is a swift death.” Dr. Wily said. “Behold my Wily Machine Mk (Mark) II!” Rock and the others immediately started attacking Wily’s new Mk II behemoth. It didn’t take longer than two minutes to destroy the new machine. Cut Man hit a cord which must’ve gave the machine infinite energy when he did this it helped everyone else. When Dr. Wily got onto the ground and begged for mercy. They ignored him and shot him straight in his skull but then his head popped off with nuts and bolts astray. “A fake of Dr. Wily; I don’t believe this.” Ice Man said disappointed. All the sudden a hole appeared beneath Rock and he fell through, however no one else could follow him. When Rock fell in, the hole immediately closed. Rock fell for what seemed like hours, but he eventually reached the bottom of this pit. Darkness was all that could be seen for miles. Rock was trapped in the darkness alone. He then heard a laugh that was all too familiar. “Well done boy but that was just the beginning.” Wily said as he started making weird movements with his body. His body started to look scaly as it grew more than twenty times its original size. Even his original shape began to look different. “Are you ready Mega Man?” “My dreams were true. Dr. Wily is no ordinary human being.” Rock stood there in fear. “My Mega Buster is the only thing I can use. I’ll have to hope for the best.” But asteroids started to rain onto the ground. Rock bolted in every direction possible. Eventually he was able to make contact with Dr. Wily’s face and opened fire. When he did this, a beeping sound was heard. The room started to brighten and looked like a virtual reality room. The strange monster started to vanish and in its place was a strange piece of metal. Rock looked around and noticed Dr. Wily tampering with some controls in the background. Rock shot at Dr. Wily’s control deck, obliterating it. Dr. Wily got onto the ground and begged for his life to be spared. Rock noticed a jetpack and took it as he got out of this hidden control room with Dr. Wily. They made it out and everyone was glad to see Rock was safe. Even Dr. Light who had gotten there the second he heard of his disappearance. Dr. Wily was sentenced to an eternity in solitary confinement by the Japan Police Force and the destruction of Dr. Light’s robots was cancelled (granted they had just helped save the world). The world was at peace at least for six months…a new robot fighter had appeared. He was red and gray, wore a yellow scarf, a black visor and he carried a shield. “Mega Man. I’ve heard much about you. I too have a Mega Buster. I would like to fight you.” The mysterious person said. “Who are you?”Rock asked in disbelief. “Defeat me and I’ll tell you.” The two leapt at each other and fired at will.
