It's that time of year again, Hetero Pride Day! I look forward to this every year, and love doing my customary personal artwork. I found a different straight pride flag this year that I also like, so I mixed it up a little bit. It's the same colour scheme as the white heart one, but fits more with the general pride flag format.

You are in the minority then from my experience. I have had to turn off comments for these before, they get mobbed by some really nasty comments.
It does my heart glad to see someone in the fandom who really values equality though. I always thought leaving one type of person out was not equality, just a good way to foster resentment.Hope you've had some good haply days this month. ^w^

ow.. i'm sorry people are being so heterophobic :c honestly it makes me feel sad too when people are hating on straights for having pride, especially since i'm part heteromantic :< whenever i search up straight pride, i noticed like 80% of the results are all hate posts. i thought pride was about equality and acceptance? and quite often we get the pastdwellers going on about what the straights use to do to queers. but hey that's hundreds of years ago, this is the present now. most straights are now allies and i think they at least deserve a reward for supporting queers and keeping our species alive <=) but yea, be proud all you like ^w^ don't let the heterophobes bring you down, straights deserve pride after all!
straight pride kinda reminds me of being a furry. you be who you are and it's not hurting anyone, yet haters will always have a problem with it and try to pick on you, even though you aren't doing anything wrong. sorry for the long message btw!-
Haha, no need to apologize. I enjoyed the read. You are way too rational and your brain works too well for the modern age that's for sure. I agree with you completely but what you said could legitimately get you banned from some sites for "hate speech". I've taught myself to laugh at how absurd it is, but if I hadn't I'd be in a very bad way. Current year sucks, I tell ya. I hope some other timeline out there has it better. XD

but the thing is, what i'm saying seems to be more about me supporting straight pride and lgbtqa+ pride, tbh i dunno how that would be hate speech cos i'm not being hateful here :< i think the heterophobes being like "frick you straight pride!!1!11!111" seems to be more of a rant/hate speech

just came back and noticed a smol typo there, sorry! what i meant is that there needs to be more peeps like me who support and accept everyone regardless of their sexuality or gender, like all genders and sexualities deserve pride, even the cishets ^w^
