Y'know since the New Year is coming up soon and I still haven't gotten tired of this alien-sona I decided she needed a new reference. Not much has really changed about her except the extra mouth on her neck (which took me looking up references on google to get sorta decent wheezes). I must say I think I'm getting better at drawing human-esque characters. 8O

Long story short: She’s from a race of alien people that bonded with a parasitic species early on in their evolutional development. They helped each other survive and advanced together. Even long after they didn't need each other the two species stuck together. The parasites changed their hosts’ bodies to better suit their presence. (Which is why they have tendrils and the parasite’s eye is burrowed out and lodged in the forehead and their mouths in the back of their host's neck.)

Host and parasite speak telepathically to each other. The tendrils split apart to multiply (but the more they split they thin out) and when the host is in danger the parasite will alter their hosts’ bodies to help them in combat. But the changes are minor.
