Based on something that happened to me, that dream of every gay man: that the man they've been calling their best friend for years turns out to be gay and have feelings for them. Problem is, not everyone has that dream. And when they don't, that dream coming true becomes a nightmare.

I'd love feedback, because I'm really, really burningly curious to see what people think about this. I want to know (honestly) what notes I hit and what emotions/thought processes were portrayed and felt. I don't know if I portrayed Jarrett's feelings well enough, but goddam it I tried hard.

Also, this is my first piece of surrealist literature despite being a big fan of the movement. I feel it translates less well into writing, I think, but eh.
