Lately I’ve had this resolve to try and rebuild an art community that’s built on positive reinforcement. I’ve been reaching out a lot more to growing artists and I hope we can all do something great together. A lot of that drive comes from the inspirational people around me, a good portion of which comes from youtubers.

There are many youtubers I look up to, not because of their popularity but because of what they strive to accomplish. They want to inspire, they want to help, and they want to create safe communities where people can talk about the things they enjoy and love while watching the people they enjoy and love. These healthy communities have the capability to inspire each other, art communities used to be like they and they can still be like that. It just takes someone who cares and someone who’s willing to try and band everyone together for a similar cause.

Suzy, Mortem3r on youtube, has been getting crazy amounts of flack lately. She cares about her viewers and even GG crew’s viewers as though they were her own friends and family. Instead of letting trolls and bullies get away with shit, she blocks them to keep her comment section clean and safe for those who are they just to enjoy her videos. Instead of complaining about the bullies, she tells people how to handle them.

You’re real strong, flapflaps. You’re strong and beautiful and one of many inspirations. Your actions matter and I want you to know that we appreciate everything you do that goes both noticed and unnoticed.
