Bees surge to an early lead and never surrender it.

Portland would strike first, with a goal in the opening minute, but the Bees would then surge, leading to 4 unanswered goals, before the Pumas began to claw back into it near the end of the period, leading Salt Lake City to take a 4-2 lead into the second.

Portland would close the gap early in the second, with a goal by Swampertlover, and the teams would score dueling response goals soon after, including Salt Lake City's forward Tala completing his this third for a hat-trick. The period would mostly be quiet after, though the sound of iron rung into the air as Remmy Chevalier just barely missed his attempt to tie it up, and thus the Bees go into the third up by a score of 5 to 4.

In the third, SLC rolls. three goals, including a fourth goal on the night by Tala lead to them rolling away with the game by a score of 8 to 4.
