I've decided to start doing painting practice pieces to develop my lineless painting style more. To do this, I picked some of CassioBunny's characters, because if I make it gift art I can trick myself into sticking with it. XD I arranged them from easiest to hardest to paint, so we're starting with her old rubber skunkette, Lastik, since I'm pretty confident in my latex painting skills. It's not perfect - I think the highlights are probably too diffuse, but I couldn't find any reference photos of the exact lighting situation I wanted, so it's hard to tell. There aren't a lot of photos of latex at night that don't have camera flash happening, either. Ended up just finding the only one I could that had yellow/gold reflections and fudged it. Anyway, let me know your thoughts!
