Yup I am finally joining my first DnD campaign and I'll be able to play as a Gnoll, so I turned my hyena Zulan into a Gnoll, changing their design a bit and their personality/background.
She's always hungry. Give her food, don't mess with her companions and she will let you be. It's hard to befriend her but once you do, she'll protect you forever.
Heh, I played an albino gnoll to. I don't know what setting your in, but I found it a rewarding challenge to get into a gnoll's mindset and come up with an acceptable backstory. I personally always ate like a king, for free, because I would just ask nervous innkeeps for all the kitchen scraps. Or bite into someone's head mid-combat.
How awesome, I play a gnoll in D&D too! Her name is Tzebua and she's a mix of spotted and striped yeen ♥
