A very special birthday request for my good friend Strike! When I asked him if he wanted anything in particular, he asked that I draw his super cute hella fluff Bernese mountain dog character, tentatively named Yuki, as a girl! GASP! Naturally, I was unable to resist.

Drawing this was interesting, because I actually didn't work from reference quite as much as usual—not that there's anything wrong with references! In fact to the contrary, I'm a major advocate of using references and seldom draw without them! It just turned out to be a fun little experiment, and while the drawing might have a slightly different "feel," I still think it came out pretty nicely for a rough sketch, and I was happy to present it to them on their big day. c:
