My character Nym, perched on her own private pillow of moss getting a drink with an acorn cap! I’ve been wanting to paint some little floating nature scenes for a while, and had to use Nym as an example. So I shrank her down to bug size, and painted up this little floating scene. (complete with refreshment, it gets tiring flying around all day!)
I revisited this piece and made a few changes as well!
9.5 hours in Photoshop CS6 with an Intuos 3 tablet

That looks like a pretty big beverage-to-person ratio! I'll bet she could make a decent pot of tiny soup with that much water.
