Finished piece for my last illustration class at RMCAD! This is a mock comic cover for my graphic novel about Wolfy. In the comic I will illustrate many short stories about Wolfy's relationship with a local black bear. When the bear first appeared on our property, Wolfy's reaction was to bark in alarm. The bear, however, was just after out compost pile, which we had set up a ways away from the house just in case this very thing happened.

The bear would knock down the fence we built around it, eat his fill and go on his way. Leaving the pickings to Wolfy, who previously couldn't reach the rotting feast! Soon Wolfy learned the presence of the bear was a sign of a feast to come. There were times when Wolfy was right there, just a yard away or so, waiting for his turn to snarf some leftovers.
