Tribe Profile - Pel'Dimali

Eskiworks

Did I say I was going to post these every three days? I meant I'm not going to wait that long to post another one, because I can't help myself. >_>

Pylura and Alecani live in an integrated society, and have been for so long that they've evolved similar looks for their adaptations to each territory. Alecani are the winged canines you see here, more information can be found on their species profile. ( http://tea-feathers.tumblr.com/post/110264204849/who-are-the-alecani-currently-alecani-are-a ) The Pylura are the cat people you see here. Though not winged, they are highly intelligent scientific minded animals, who value curiosity and knowledge (species profile pending). The word "Dimali" means "people", a word separate from their species identity to denote they're part of a specific group. There are ten primary tribes that control the continent this story is set, each one with unique cultural and physiological traits!

These guys are the Pel'Dimali! They live in one of the largest territories on the continent, spanning a HUGE area of grassland and desert. Not gonna lie, capitol "C" Coyote was a pretty big inspiration for this tribe. What's a world without it's tricksters, eh? ;)

I imagine you'd get pretty good at running if you have to run a long way to get anywhere. It sounds like this group's territory is pretty big! I'll admit, I just figured alecani could fly most places, but that's probably not always a great idea if this is a stormy environment. I really like seeing this info, it's really interesting!

Thank you, I'm glad you like this! I'm figuring that Alecani of Pel would be good at running, but also good long distance flyers as well.
