I finally got the idea to draw this a few weeks ago, and I'm just now uploading it here because I just realized I have this site as well. Anyways, I've played trumpet since the 6th Grade (I'm in my senior year of high school now) and I can read music from the treble clef. I'm trying to learn to read for guitar, and maybe bass later. Anyways, the song I transcribed was something from the 8th Grade that we did that I really liked. I bet just about everyone has heard it, but if you haven't then go listen to this at about 19 seconds in. I guarantee you'll recognize it :3

I gotta say though, it was a hell of a lot more fun when I was actually still in band. It's just not the same without obnoxious tubas and annoying percussion backing you up, y'know? X3

Hah, that's true. Work on it, and then you can try to join a band.

I'm more into playing my bass right now, but I kinda wanna start taking actual lessons and learning the whole music theory behind it and all that. I wanna make myself better, but between work and college, it ain't very doable at the moment ^^;
