Continuing to experiment with translucent gems. I drew the back of the crystal first, then interior, then the front, then added some details... but it feels like that's not a good way to do it. By the time I get to drawing the front - too much of the background and interior of the crystal gets painted over, so I have to re-paint those parts to restore some of that translucent effect. The previous drawing was done kind of backwards and I like the result better.
