I am trying to do a 'draw a thing every day for a month in a particular medium' thing. It is shamelessly inspired by one you've probably seen going around focused on ink. I'm just not an ink girl, though. And I've been out of the habit of opening up Illustrator and working on something pretty much every day.
So here is some scribbly fan art of a TV show I've been working my way through lately.

I'd be tempted to use this to get around to finally learning Illustrator, but I'm already doing Inktober, a webcomic, and working on a bunch of music.
I do need to get around to watching Utena though. You're not the only one who's been talking about it lately and it sounds like a lot of fun (plus, the few clips of it I've seen are pretty great).

Yeah I think your recreational creative hours of this month are more than spoken for with those plans.
