Don't ask me why I've decided to restart the page numbering every time I start a chapter. That's just how it is.

Hoo-boy, so this is going to be another start-and-stop deal. Maybe one day when I have a wealth of assets I'll be able to produce pages consistently (when I don't stop to do other stuff). But for now it takes a lot of work to build stuff. This little chunk was going to be a test to see if I could produce a small, focused setting very quickly. I started about 3 months ago. I guess it was kinda quick compared to others but not great.

However, I developer several new techniques to that should really help my work now. The decal system has been reused and now I have a new way to produce a bump map texture from any model(s) which was used for the barely-identifiable figure on the wall. More importantly, I developed a new spandex system for tight-fitting clothes that really blew up into a lot of stuff. Gonna post a lot more on that later. For now, it just makes the socks for the suit and the crotch area, blending into the texture on the body to look like a skin-tight survival/space suit.

I did some more background characters in a vague way. Still not sure if I wanna keep that way or finally get around to that variable version of the normal model shader network.

I still really need to work on my dialog. After this first set of pages, I've decided to commit to planning out pages and dialog before diving into settings, shots, and assets. Hopefully that will reduce the wasteful space and make the dialog more fitting.
