In his work as a Borderlandguard to the western lands of Equestria Hazard has to overwatch the wastelands that lay between his Homeland and the western lands to make sure that no threat passes throu the border and gets into Equestria. It's not easy and some dangers surely have escaped his watchfull eyes since he can't be at all places in the same time but he do's the best he can to keep Equestria safe.
