Playing with color and shapes. Not sure what to say, really! Just a bit of fun. Lot to think about after this.
Another person said the same thing on another site. I never made the connection until they said it, which sucks a bit, especially when I've got a deck with him in it. I felt really bad about that -- I guess that means I'll just have to do better next time. No subconsciously thinking about the 2nd best Planeswalker! No! (Think about Ajani instead. That's the ticket~)
Thank you!! <33
Nice to see another person with Nicol Bolas in their deck! I am torn between him and Ajani, which my boyfriend uses in his deck. He has a really cool design, so it's no wonder it would pop into your head while making this piece. it came out great, and the design on the head piece is wonderfully done, is that Japanese? I only recognize a few characters. it's a good pic, and I really like it.
It is! I cannot, for the life of me, remember what the phrase is, but I threw it through Google Translate. Gosh, I didn't consider that Google might make it sound really broken. Uh-oh! Fingers crossed no one knows.
Ajani was in my first ever deck. A white/blue deck based around life-gain and control. I had control over the board so well in my first game that I used his "ultimate", as my roommates called it, to make an Avatar that mirrored my life amount for its offensive and defensive values. I think it was around 80 life. I... I lost that game. Turns out, there are cards that kill monsters outright! Oops! White/blue is still my favorite though -- I just gotta be smarter about Ajani usage.
Blue and white are my colors! especially blue. when my mate and I team up we ten to do something similar, where I keep control and heals, while having strong creatures out. I tend to try and protect them with counter spells and enchantments. Its a pain though when people have "destroy target creature" spells though, and don't get me started on "Death Touch".
the characters look legit, I'm not good with Japanese yet, but I learned that google translate isn't too bad. they get it right for the most part. Also, it's not like many people are going to go through the process of looking up each individual character heh heh it works well with the picture and adds to its magic.
