This one was a surprise to see in the commission submissions when I last opened. It came early on, and it stayed on my mind so much that I knew I couldn't say no. I'm so glad I did, because this was an absolute joy to work on. Thank you for trusting me with such a concept, 5!

Yessss! Love a bit of water in scenes. I worried for a bit that a water/open air background might be -too- much blue, I'll admit... Then I realized, "wait blue is the best, you can't have enough blue." ... Oh, and it turned out to be a good choice visually; that space back there definitely needed it!

yes! it draws attention to the high contrast of the larger dragon's wings and then sweeps the eye down.
