For reference: Katie was turned into a species of mine nicknamed "half demons". They gain some supernatural abilities, including teleportation and extremely fast healing, and each had a form called an Animal that they turned into whenever they wanted or during emotional stress.

Katie's Animal was a dragon, and she got pregnant a short while after she was turned. Silios was born, also (for all we know?) a half-demon, with the ability to shift between human and Animal... but she HATED being human. She was more dragon than not, and prefers to stay in her dragon form at all times.

Katie understands and loves her sweet little purple bab with all her heart. Silly couldn't ask for a better mom.
