This was my final print in my print making class I took in the fall semester of my junior year. The idea is based around what the Japanese do with broken pottery. They will the cracks with gold to make something new and unique. I drew this for a very close transgender friend of mine because her heart feels broken that she can't be who she really is. Pictured is exactly how she sees herself. I gave this to her as a Christmas gift in a gold frame.
