Thank you very much! The head is very much based on that of a horse. It was decided (in the comments over on FA) that it was some kind of demonic alien dragon. XD
Ultimately, I think I'm going for alien/monster. The creature is quite large in my mind: one of those 'looks damned evil, but it's as gentle as a mouse' sort of thing. Once I finish this close-up of it, I may go ahead and do a full-body picture.

looks fascinating.. just going by the head it looks like a form of dragon with two sets of eyes.. however I know it could be anything at all.. including a kind of wingless steed, or something as small as a cat. I'm actually interested to see more of it.
