Oh god this pic. The characters featuring here and Erion and his son Erjon. Erion was cursed when he tried to rescue his wife and son but only managing to get his boy. The curse on him has been killing him slowly and very painfully trough the course of a year and now he knows his time has come as much as he hates the idea of leaving his son alone.
This pic comes in set with a little draft that I wrote which you can find HERE if you're interested, however I must warn you it's a rather depressing thing.

I'm so glad to know it does looks like Erjon is leaning on his father because if not then this whole thing wouldn't make sense, sob.
Erjon was too meesed up back then to be able to understand his own emotions. It's sad indeed. He really cared a lot for his father bue had no idea he did, resulting in him forgetting him alost completely as the years went by. I wear, this guy gives me so many feels too ;w;

Oh god, I remember this and how much it made me cry. It's so sad.
The feel feel like his father is trying his hardest to get through to Erjon, to tell him what he needs to know to survive and Erjon doesn't even realize how much he cares about his father. I think leaving it sketchy was a good idea, it really kind of sets the "memory" mood for the picture. The desaturated colors do wonders for it. Erjon looks like he is actually leaning against his father rather than simply placed there in the picture.
