This here is my entry for CrashBandicoot-Club's Bring Back Bandicoot contest. The contest was announced back at the beginning of March but my foolish ass kept putting my entry off until THE FINAL DAY, then I did a mad dash to finish it, but slowly enough so that it came out looking good.
It's now 2:30AM here and my hand is killing me because of that grass 8I
I deeply regret my decision to wait so long to work on this

I'm a little upset that I left it so long because I couldn't put all the extra bits in that I wanted to add. I was gonna add more characters and have shading and everything but nah, not enough time for that. Either way I am still incredibly pleased with how it came out. Easily my favourite pieces I've worked on.

anyways more onto the designs I chose for the characters.
Crash's design is based a lot off a design Charles Zembillas himself came up with for fun, which you can see >here<. I just changed a few things to suit me but yeah, it's still mostly Charles' design :')
Coco I had a lot of fun coming up with. I wanted to go back to her roots while also freshening it up a bit and changing her hair because it always bothered me 8I She's back in her overalls and wears glasses because why not? I gave her spots for the sake of design diversity ;P
Crunch, well I wanted to give him rounded ears originally because I wanted to make him more Gaint Bandicoot-like which is the breed I headcanon him as being, but I couldn't resist the good ole floppy ears. I tried to mash up his designs into one and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome and I hope you Crunch fans are too

Cortex you can't really go wrong with honestly. Naturally I gave him a much more...realistically shaped head, while also still resembling what his previous designs looked like. Although he still looks very much like his CotT/MOM design for his head, but that's just because how I draw him mostly than a conscious design choice :') I tried to add a little grey in his hair to show his age, even tho he already looks old as hell in my style and some sweet ass side-burns XD And his outfit I mostly came up with myself, while keeping to his classic labcoat, gloves & boots.

Anyways, I really wanted to enter this contest, especially since my love for the series has recently been re-kindled and is roaring ablaze, it's so bad that nearby towns are evacuating :')
But yeah, I really wanted to show my love for the series in this pic, I poured quite a lot of heart and soul into it and I feel it payed off, even if it wasn't exactly how I originally wanted.
